About Occurrences

Occurrences consist of different experiences, situations, thoughts, and emotions. Occurrences can be positive or negative. Occurrences can be realistic or a product of your imagination. Occurrences can act as both a stressor as well as a trigger (a switch, a pusher ) the latter of which refers to the creation of a reaction or process, making it the most suitable expression to use.

Stress is not caused by things and situations themselves, but rather, your interpretation and reaction to them.
