About beliefs 2

Restrictive beliefs prevent you from living to the fullest.

These can be a part of your story that you are telling about yourself. When you say, "I am never lucky", you confirm your own misfortune every time and it is difficult to see yourself as a successful person with the way of thinking that derives from this belief. But why not decide that everything is different from today - quite the contrary!

Sometimes a deeper cause can be hidden behind the stated belief, and changing the actual cause won’t be such an easy task, but being aware of it is already a big step forward.

Behind the belief "I am never lucky" may be hidden a fear of not coping and failure, and with this sentence you are trying to give yourself an excuse that if I am not doing as well as others, my result doesn’t have to be as good.

If you are aware of the restrictive belief that you want to get rid of, think of a new belief that supports you. Try to imagine how a new belief would change your life and why it matters to you. Look for experiences and activities that would confirm your new belief.

Has any of your emotional or personal experiences laid the ground for your restrictive belief or affirmed it.
